Default any1 here good in mathematics?

Im playing a game, and im gunna come across alot of the games currency, and i plan on buying as many of 2 different items as i can. Heres the numbers

    Wallet Size: 12,008,448

    Item 1 is worth 100
    Item 2 is worth 150

But thats not all. i need to have 2 item #2's per item #1. so basically, in example, if i were to buy 100 item #1s, id have to buy 200 item #2s which would equal out to 40,000. Can any1 make a calculation to equal my wallet size with the above information? Its an online game and there is no undo button thats why im trying to have a precise information. Then after your done the equation, do you think you can show me how i can do it on my own? I just cant figure it out.

I actually think i figured it out waiting for an anwser, though it took me a week to come to this. On my scientific calculator i put in 12008448 divided by (100+(150x2)) = 92,372.67692 but that doesnt sound right...so i put it in like 92372+13855800 and that obviously isnt right, so im stumped.

There's not enough informationto complete the problem. Unless I missed it, you never said how much you're buying.

30021 of Item 1, 60042 for Item 2. You'll have some change left over. The minimum you can spend is 400 (1 item one plus 2 item twos), and your maximum wallet size divided by your minimum spent money per unit of supplies gives you the number of items you'd buy of each category if you spent all your moneys on them.

He's buying two of item 2 for every 1 of item 1. The number of bought item 2s will be, by definition, double item 1. Not less by a third.

    Err.. geez, math.

    12008448 / 400 = 30012

Meaning 10004 and 20008, but I'm sure i did it all wrong.

i actually think i found a different way. i divide my total wallet size by 3, then i take my wallet size and subtract what it was when divided and write down both numbers. Then take number #1 and divide that buy 100, and take number #2 and divide that by 150. Essentially, i came out with exactly what lemming said. God i hate math. god all this crap just to buy some damn iron and coal.

They say people who excel in English and Science will not do so well in Math. I fall into that category.

Hah. I really really wanted to do Chemistry but the classes were full when I enrolled.

    I did physics instead :\

Needless to say I was hopeless. I think I got something like 6/25 the first test we done.
