Well, my list would also be quite similar to most people, but for some reason I liked Amarant's attitude in FF9 and also liked Magus a lot (CT), plus in CC, I liked a LOT of characters!!
Ryu, Amarant, Kidd, and a lot more are my favs, Magus is a good fav. and well, Schala is the hot stuff

It's easier to build a good char in a RPG game:if the storyline of the game is great, it's probable to find a few great chars in it, and it's easier to all of us to feel identificate with some of this.

That's why I think some of the best chars come from non-RPGs games, cos it's more meritorious his creation:none of you have ever think to be a yellow sphere with two eyes & one big mouth who likes to eat little balls & fruit & ghosts, nor a ultrafast-hedgehog-in blue,nor a plumber using warping pipes...or have you?

Frecuently the best chars are the classic ones:Mario,Sonic,Pac-Man,Bomberman...

Ken(SF series) is a good example: we don't know so much about him(a few lines of his personality,he was going to get marry...and nothing more), but definitively he is a great char!

Has anyone here played Breath of Fire 4? If you have played more than 20 minutes, you know how much of a badass Fou-Lu is. He's as evil as they come. I really wish CapCom showed more of him though.
