    Default Nintendo DS

Hey guys... I did a search and couldn't find anything on the forums, but is there a good Nintendo DS emulator out there?

Emulators have a long way to come yet.
But the 2 best ones are No$GBA and DSEmu.

    Lie

    Desmume and No$GBA.

With Desmume, you don't need to have the bios files though.

I meant Desmume, don't hate me. I've never used DS emulators before so I didn't know the name of it...

Yes they are still under development and each emulator has made more progress in curtain areas of emulation then the other. What is your specific problem?

besides asking for the impossible? DS emulation just started. Why do people expect such impossibilities? when PS2 and Xbox came out people were already asking for emulators of those 3 months later

I don't expect anything. I just want to know what everyone else knows a bout DS emulation. I'd love to play just a few games (Pokemon, Mario) so if anyone has a walkthrough to get these working, that'd be great.

Apparently No$GBA runs Pokemon Pearl/Diamond to a certain degree, have you checked this thread?:

You're contradicting yourself. You're actually expecting these games to run flawlessly on the emulator after a few months of development

hence the "expecting the impossibility" comment

Basicly, You will need to keep paying attention to the compatability list on each emu's site, at this point DS emu's simply arent very far along, some stuff will run, some stuff will be choppy, some wont go at all.

the best bet for DS roms at this point is the purchase the actual DS system, and then buy yourself a flash card. I wont provide any links, as i dont want to break any rules, but serves to say if you search google a seller should show itself.

If i can be of any other help, just ask.

The only thing you could break the rules with here is if you posted any links to PC games or warez so by all means post any link you have to any seller of these flash cards for people to use. After all some of the emuparadise staff have already done reviews of these flash cards on the main site (at least I hope I'm right about this becuase I know that 1emulation has at least).

Yeah, we have reviews of some flash cards in the reviews section:

And Haldrie is right, there's nothing wrong about posting links to online shops, as long as they gave you a good service you can recommend them to us

Allright then, i use an M3SD(i highly recogmend SD, its smaller, and in a lot of cases faster and more compatable) GBA slot/passcard 3, which i bought from www.divineo.com , i actually wanted to recogmend them, price was cheap and the delivery was quick. well worth a look.

(funny thing, i checked the site and they dont even sell my card anymore, in its place is a slightly more costly model, but its made to fit in the DS lite, which explains the extra cost.)
