    Default I can't burn PS2(name of game) to a verbatim dvd+r

I can't burn PS2(name of games) to a verbatim dvd+r .I tried with alcohol and dvd decrypter.
Alcohol failed ind the middle of the recording process and said lba something?? failed to record to address.
dvd decrypter burned but does not play in the ps2.
but I can record on other name brand disc with no problem
I thought verbatim was the best,
Is there something i'm dong wrong?

beware, after upgrading your software check that your dvd unit is in the "master" slot, and don´t reboot of shut down your computer while upgrading your firmware, if you do your burner will be heavily damaged.

Ok i updated the firmware and got the same results.
then i changed it back and got the the same results.
so on purpose i got about 5 brands of disc(two really cheap ones) and start burning the same game back to back on all of them.
i was successful until i got to verbatim.
It failed for the 15th time.

first disable the overburn function, because it's a dangerous one
why don't you try another game, maybe the problem in the image itself ?
    Note:
my connection is 64kbps,so expect 1-2 files parts daily (I am doing my best)

Yep also check on your verbatim dvd label, has to say "Developed by Mitsubishi Corp" y just found myself some that were under the vebatim trademark and it was a total lie, sometimes verbatim orders to 3 party ppl to make their dvds so these ones are low quality and can even damage your dvd burner/lector.

BTW you can check the manufacture of the disc using nero and a soft once I owned it (lost after my crash).
