    Default FMV issue

Im having trouble with the FMV's on every iso that has them.

They play almost as if im using a scratched cd. They are really choppy but have moments where the video plays just fine. The iso play the games just fine though with a slight frame rate skip every once in a while ( hardly noticeable). Im thinking that its my video driver but any suggestions would help.

    Using:
    ePSXe 160/152

    Petes OpenGL Driver 1.76

Same issue with both versions of ePSXe.

Are you playing them from a CD in your drive, or from an ISO on your comp?

If your playing them as CD's, then use CDRWin to make bin/cue files from them, then go to File > Run ISO > choose the bin file to play them in ePSXe.

    Get CDRWin from here:

So, you're running them from actual ISO images, and not from discs? If so, I'd suggest you reconfigure your video plugin, or change it completely. What kind of video card do you have?

As far as from the CD it could be that your CD-ROM drive is having problems reading the PlayStation CD. This is normal and the solution would be to simply image the disc to your computer and run it from there (which it seems you have done). If you are also noticing skipping (even the slightest) from the image the it could either be that your processor isn't fast enough to handle it or there is a background program running that is taking processor power away from ePSXe. You could also try defragmenting your hard drive so that ePSXe can access the data from the image file faster which could also speed things up a bit.

Disable Frame Skipping if you have it enabled in your video plugin.
