'read without driver' error
Ok, heres my problem. When ever I save a game on my pSX 1.11 emulator, and then shut it off, when I go back to continue playing I get a 'read without driver' error which shortly leads to my player freezing on the black screen of death.
What can I do to fix this? I really don't want to have to start playing all my games from the beginning again.
Any-hoo, please let me know what I can do.

Ok, thanks, that explains quite a bit. But I am still wondering, will I have to start my games over? When I got to try and save it on to the new memory card I just get the same error.
Any suggestions?

You have to format the memory card for it to work.
Formatting erases all saved data.
So, yes, you'll have to start over.
1:1 or Nothing
If you still have a save state you might be able to load it and, since the save states also save what memcards you had set when you saved, you can then create a new one and try to do a mem card save to it. I can't be too sure if that's going to work but it's worth a shot.
