    Default Dual Core help

    Hey guys.

I'm having the problem illustrated by seganin about epsxe on dual core processors giving you choppy sound/images due to the hyperthreading or whatever it is. However, I tried the fix and it's not working for me. I'm wondering, am I entering in the commands the right way? Or might it be something else? Any help would be appreciated, I'm still working trying to fix it.

    Thanks in advance.

Care to be any more precise?
First, it would be interesting to know your specs.
Go to start->run and type "dxdiag" without the quotes. Press enter.

At the bottom right of the window that appears, press the Save All Information.. button.
Save it on your desktop and attach this file with your next post.

Found a patcher that you use with imagecfg.exe, so you don't have to type all that in the DOS window.

Download the patcher from the attachment below.
    You should already have imagecfg.exe.

First, unzip the patcher and imagecfg to the same folder.
Then open the patcher and browse for both imagecfg.exe and for epsxe.exe
    Click "Patch", and you're done.
