Default Making GD-ROM images with Dreamcast's modem.

I know there is a way to do it I just can't find the instructions for it even after 2 days of Google searches. Does anyone know how to do this? I would use the BBA instead if I had it but right now the modem is all I have and I really want to dump my copy of Sonic Adventure.

You need a Dreamcast serial cable.

    Read: http://devcast.dcemulation.com/mods/...codercable.php

Be warned for a game like Sonic Adventure it'd take a long time to dump at 15kb/s. (Roughly how fast it sends data at via modem)

BTW: Sprung is selling a coders cable apparently, invest in it. I recommend you do so.

It would be easier to dload it. But if you want to go the hard way about it, Sprung knows how to do it. Just expect it to take ages without the BBA.

There'll be a GDI of it soon, or a TOSEC dump. If you're wanting to run it on an emulator. If you're wanting to make a backup for play on DC then you're in for fun, I tell ya.

Ok this is the last think I wanted to hear. I asked a simple question and I want a straight answer. I don't want to have to make a serial cable and I hate the current releases of Sonic Adventure and I want to be able to to dump my own GD-ROMs.

Sorry to sound pissed but I'm very frustrated because I couldn't get the CD-ROM method of dumping them to work.

I believe my Sonic Adventure CD is perfect, music, etc. It's PAL though. If it works I could torrent it for you if you're interested.
I've heard the KAL release has a lot of audio problems.

Dumping methods (Listed from best to worst)
    1. BBA
    2. Buy a coder's cable & Use the modem to dump
    3. Make a coder's cable & Use the modem to dump
    4. The pos CD-ROM dumping method, that doesn't work properly.

*sigh* Ok then do you know where I can buy a coder's cable because I don't exactly have the resources to buy the parts to make my own since the 2 Radio Shacks that use to be nearby closed down.

Apparently on Sprung's DC outlet, he's selling a coders cable.
