That's just a DOSBox. In your task bar look for the other ePSXe window in your taskbar.(I saw it in there) And keep your emullation related questions in the everything emulation sub-forum.

Go to Config > Video > Configure > Copy Settings to clipboard > and paste your video settings to your next reply.

You were running a lot of crap at the same time. See if you can do it when there isn't as many things running, and make sure you have only one emulator on at the time.

Also, go to the video config window and click on the button at the bottom right (copy settings to clipboard, or something like that), then paste the info in here.

Umm it seems to me your running Win Xp, which baffles me as to why ePSXe v1.6 is doign this to you at all...

If by random chance that is Win Vista with the Xp skin then idk either. B/c I have ran ePSXe both in Win XP and Win Vista and never got a window like that. What exactly did you do when you installed the emulator???

Try File > Run ISO > choose the CD Image.

And don't double-post. Use the edit button instead.

    The ISO.

It's either a .bin, .iso, .img, .nrg, .cdi or .mdf

You can't play zip or rar files with ePSXe.

So, you have to unzip it first.
Then start ePSXe, go to File > Run ISO > choose the .bin > and if you have everything else set right--BIOS, plugins, etc. then the game should start.

WinRar can extract alot of archive formats, including .zip, .rar, and .7z

So, if you have WinRar, then use it.
