    Default Visual Basic 6

i figure this is a stupid question that should be hard to find the answer to... but i cant figure it out.

In VB6, when you make a program that has multiple forms, how do you make it so when one form is close (by means of the "X" in the top corner), it closes all the others/ends the program?

    Private SUB Form_Unload(Cancel as Integer)

    End
    END SUB

    Or you could use Form_QueryUnload
depending on what you wanna do.

In a multiple form program it's far better to unload a form until it's needed again than it is to stop it from running, this way it increases the load time between forms.

next problem --> im trying to create a file with a user specified name. There is a text box that when the user clicks a button, it creates a file with the name that was typed into that box. In Liberty BASIC, I was able to just use "Open blah blah for..." and it would automatically create the file if it wasnt there already. How can i create the file with whatever name i need it to be?
