Which emulator are you using, and which version of the emulator? Also which plugins are you using with the emulator?
I'm using ePSXe Version 1.6.0 and my Video plugin is Petes OpenGL Driver 1.76
Try using ePSXe version 1.52.
Still getting same problem.
It's working now Thanks! But now when i changed the offscreen drawing value to 3 lines are appearing on the screen. Does anyone know how to fix?
To help you with this we'll need you to provide us more information: your computer specs, emulator, version, plugins and it's configuration, specially the video one.

No matter, i've fixed it bu got another problem-.- whenever a battle starts in FF9 the animation doesnt happen(you know like the screen swirls or something)instead it goes black or this square appears which is turning around and then the battle starts. And when a battle starts the music lags and then goes back to normal during the batlle. Anyone know how to fix this?
And heres my specs!
HARDWARE
CPU: I dont know how to get this information.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE
RAM: 958MB RAM
Operating System: Windows Vistaâ„¢ Ultimate (6.0, Build 6000)(6000.vista_rtm.061101-2205)
EMULATOR
ePSXe
Version 1.52
Video Plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76
Sound Plugin: Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41
I haven't tried other ROMS of FF9
I haven't tried other PS1 Emulators.
CPU: Right-click on My Computer, then properties. Should show up there.
As far as I know, your video plugin should do it. Since I haven't used that one, see if there's a special game fix for FF9 battle swirls via the video config window>special game fixes (should be at the bottom).
Is CPU my Processor if so its AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ 2.20 GHz
In ePSXe, there is a Special Config for FF9 under the Special Fixes option in the video config. This works for FF9, and there are also ones for FF7 and Legend of the Dragoon. Try the Special Fixes and see what happens... also remember to turn them off when you use another game. lol
Also, I have the same problem with the fight sequences and how it lags through the swirling, but the fight scenes and the regular gameplay have never been affected... It's usually only that one specific loading before the fight sequence. I never really looked into changing it, and have almost beaten the game. It's up to you how smooth you want the game to run, but I thought it might be good to know it won't screw your game up at all if it does happen.
The Special Fix for FF9 in ePSXe doesnt help the problem. (OffTopic: By The Way Anyone know where i can get a ROM for Legend Of Dragoon, its not on this site,Thanks.)
