Go to epsxe/config/video once there select your video plugin and limit the fps to 60.

Which emulator are you using, and which version of the emulator? Also which plugins are you using with the emulator?

That can be fixed by using ePSXe 1.52 and increasing the offscreen drawing value to 3-4 in the video plugin config window.

Please, don't open more threads if you still have problems emulating this game, use this one for further problems with it.

To help you with this we'll need you to provide us more information: your computer specs, emulator, version, plugins and it's configuration, specially the video one.

CPU: Right-click on My Computer, then properties. Should show up there.

As far as I know, your video plugin should do it. Since I haven't used that one, see if there's a special game fix for FF9 battle swirls via the video config window>special game fixes (should be at the bottom).

In ePSXe, there is a Special Config for FF9 under the Special Fixes option in the video config. This works for FF9, and there are also ones for FF7 and Legend of the Dragoon. Try the Special Fixes and see what happens... also remember to turn them off when you use another game. lol

Also, I have the same problem with the fight sequences and how it lags through the swirling, but the fight scenes and the regular gameplay have never been affected... It's usually only that one specific loading before the fight sequence. I never really looked into changing it, and have almost beaten the game. It's up to you how smooth you want the game to run, but I thought it might be good to know it won't screw your game up at all if it does happen.

The Special Fix for FF9 in ePSXe doesnt help the problem. (OffTopic: By The Way Anyone know where i can get a ROM for Legend Of Dragoon, its not on this site,Thanks.)
