Question FF IX - Crashing problems.

    Howdy.
I encountered some problems emulating FF IX ( It worked just fine, little bit faster than it should but it was okay to me) so I played it 'til the Dali phase, then came part where I'm supposed to leave Dali >
Cinematics about Airship come, and game crashes.

Anyone knows how to fix this up?
    Thanks in advance!

Use ePSXe 1.5.2. As I recall, it works with it.

Wow, that was fast reply. Ye, I was using 1.6.0 so that seemed to be the (main) problem.
    Thanks O.o

Now I just gotta start reading guides how to set it to be normal speedish, gotta admit that music drives me mad at some points as what it is atm.
( I could take tips for that aswell, I tried looking ePSXe guide how to set it and did everything exactly like it said- and still too fast)
    - Used http://www.epsxe.com/help.php step by step guide to set it up.

So I'm having settings like it states they should be on the guide, but the game itselves runs too fast, and music is absolutly too fast aswell.
Anyone having ideas how to fix it up/ slow it down?

Video config window, and check the two red arrows. That should do it.

That fixed normal game & sound part of it now, but in cinematics and battles it still starts to go fast both - visual and audio.
Keeping battle speed on 0 so that wasn't key to that ^^

Well, try using FPS limit instead, and limit it at either 60 for NTSC games or 50 for PAL.

Ah, that solved it totally. Nor 60 or 50 didn't seem to work, but when I limitted it
all the time lower and lower, I noticed it to be normal at 25 - 30 FPS. Bummer that had to cut that much away but well, you can live with it, it ain't FPS-game after all which would req. such of huge FPS.
