Everytime I try to save in Shining Soul II it fails. I don't like using savestates. (In fact I consider them cheating.) Can anyone direct me to a save patch please?

The save type is Flash 64K, so setting VBA's saves to Auto should work.
Are you using the latest Beta of VBA?:
