FF8 disc change on PSP, possible?

hi, sorry if someone has already asked this, but i have just finished my first disc of Final Fantasy 8 on my PSP.

I put disc two on my PSP, i load game and it says that there is no data.

Would it be possible to load disc one and when it asks for disc two, just put disc two eboot in another Memory stick and put that in the psp?

I'm using POPS popstation GUI, and I am on DarK_AleX 3.10 OEA' custom firmware.

I haven't actually tried it out myself. But do the eboots have the same ID?
They have to have the same ID to be recognized by the save...

Yeah i noticed that, i changed it thinking that it would solve the problem but it still doesn't work.

I don't know then, is disc 2 just not recognizing the save?
That's usually because of ID (SLUS-00892 for FF8 ntsc)

I don't think that you can swap eboots like that
