Default Tomb Raider running to fast on ePSXe

I downloaded Tomb Raider recently but i can't seem to get it to run properly. Using both daemon tools and Alcohol 52% I can mount the .mds file to a virtual drive, but when I run it as a CD-ROM it starts up but it runs way to fast. I can't even start the game before it starts going through the demos and if i'm lucky enough to hit "start game" I run through the first hallway in less than two seconds. anybody experience this before?

You might wanna check the options and see if there's a frame-limiter in there somewhere. If so, setting it to 60 may work.

I'm not entirely sure though, seeing as I don't mess around with PSX emulation all that much, and haven't in some time.

Hmm. Check the video options on your plug-in. N00bish, but maybe you have it ticked for fast.ePSXe has a fast and nice setting.

I also thought "wtf is Cookie doing posting such a n00bish question". Until I went back and seen it was by someone else.
Yeh there's an option in ePSXe "Auto Detect Frame Limit" select it, and job's a good 'un.

Yeah I only glanced at teh avatar and saw cookie monster, and well cookie monster is the cookie monster, then I read the q and was like WTF? /spam

This thread should prolly be closed now...

But anyway you should always set your plugins to the nice setting unless you need to do a specially tweak your graphics card to get a game to run. Also, never move your plugin directory i.e. cut and paste it elsewhere and then try to use it, b/c you'll have to reconfigure them.

Why should it be closed? The OP may come back with another question or issue about emulating. /learned not to close threads prematurely from Cookie before

Oh, and you guys can stop the spam now.
