Besides, second hand Saturns are hardly expensive pieces of hardware.
20 quid down the local Gamestation.
    Piece of piss.

and if your local one dosent have one
they can get one from another store that does.

Ahh, right. Yeah, it's a right pain with Model 2s. I guess I was lucky to have come across a Model 1 here.

I have been stalking my local Gamestation for a Saturn for ages. I've had my eye on a Panasonic 3DO, they've had that since summer, still got it now.
Ontopic: when I see a model 1 Saturn at Gamestation, it's mine.

I picked up a model 2 for 12.99 a few months ago, that's the one I got annoyed with and swapped. Bad move.

'Here' is Scotland. So maybe not so lucky afterall (though the games stores here are...pretty bad). I actually wanted a Model 2 at the time, as I had planned on chipping it, but after doing the swap trick a few times on a Model 1, and realising how easy it was, I decided not to bother...

If you had've got a Model 2 and tried swap trick, after it not working on a few of the best games, you would have been quite pissed. I was.

That sounds like a good shop. Only game shops here worth mentioning are Gamestation.

I have a saturn that does the swap trick and a old school 3DO that plays copied games. ^^ Im running a AMD64 2.0Ghz 1.6Ghz FSB and it plays the commercial girigiri saturn emu at full framerates. ^^
