Star Ocean: The Second Story problem

I just downloaded Star Ocean The Second Story Disc 1 (now downloading Disc 2) and while playing disc one, I seem to have a problem that whatever I buy in the shop, it never appears on my item menu (the money still decreases though) the only thing it hadn't affected was the Sandals, which gave me a screen saying my characters had automatically equipped them.

I'm using ePSXe,
Video: P.E.Op.S Soft Driver 1.17
Sound: Eternal SPU 1.50
Cdrom: Doesn't really matter since I'm using the ISO image off this website

If you're using ePSXe then it's probably recommended using 1.5.2, if you are using 1.5.2 then try pSXFin.

Nevermind, I'm using 1.6.0 and restarting my game has fixed the problem. Thanks for the help though, and sorry if it wasted your time ^^;
