    Default Mac and AIM question

ok so on this macbook AIM messes up and crashes all the time, but it like... well it doesn't erase the profile, it was clearing it.. After a while the profiles started to alternate when it crashed. So i was thinking well all the profiles have to be saved somewhere on the macbook if somehow old profiles can magically appear. So if anyone knows where i could find these "files" that'd be awesome. I remember on windows it was in the folder of the screen name or something as like info.html maybe? it's been years. I can't seem to find anything like that on the mac. So to sum it up where is the aim profile info stored on a mac. I have aim 4.7

I made a whole new screen name, and the same problem persists, my profile like alternate at random. I figured at least if i could find where it saves my profiles, i can delete the ones i dont want to randomly pop up.

You could try to completely uninstall AIM hoping those "files" are delted in the process. Then reinstalling AIM...

    Idk... I'm a windows user.

Now why didn't I think of that. Yeah or you could use a multi program application such as Gaim that combines a ton of IM clients in one. (No that's not a typo. Gaim is an actual multi IM client application)

just use AIM Express, it's a browser based version of the messenger and you don't have to install anything.

Well I'd use Trillian like on my PC but it doesn't work on Mac, I just want to find where the profiles are saved though, I have no interest in trying another program, but noone seems to use AIM with a Mac so I guess I'll just have to keep looking lol. Thanks anyways though

I think I'll try that out, it looks promising. Can I make different like accounts like on Trillian so everything is separate, cause like 4 people use my laptop, I can't find a complete features list on the site and that's sort of annoying
