    Municipal Waste (Punk/Thrash Metal) http://youtube.com/watch?v=NAkyBaEaFj0

Mercenary (Melodic Death/Power Metal) http://youtube.com/watch?v=UOcAUzX2UJc <-- Not their best song, you should try out their 11 Dreams album.

Diablo Swing Orchestra (Avantgarde) http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=86177545 <-- Check out Balrog Boogie

Jag Pazner (Power Metal) http://youtube.com/watch?v=YRfiDuvkU6o <-- Listen to the song, just ignore the Immortal-esque video. Mechanized Warfare is an excellent album, really underappreciated.

Amorphis (Doom Metal, has changed over the years though) http://youtube.com/watch?v=Th8X6RgkAN4 <-- From their newest album. Metal Archives call it "Modern Rock/Melodic Metal" and I actually prefer this to their old stuff. Eclipse is an excellent album, grew on me a lot, so much that it became my favorite album last year.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=bVLCHDw9v...elated&search= <-- Old stuff. Love this too.

Ayreon (Progressive Metal) http://youtube.com/watch?v=qtAhlPcdh9c <-- If you don't know Ayreon, I don't wanna know you. Try out The Human Equation, awesome album.

Cellador (Power Metal) - http://youtube.com/watch?v=qtAhlPcdh9c <-- For those who like Dragonforce.

... hell, that post was messy, excuse me. '

There is a distinct lack of MSTRKRFT in this thread. Let's try to fix that...

    Well played.

Their remix of Sexy Results from DFA1979 was awesome.

JR Ewing (1998-2006) - A damn good norwegian rock punk grunsh hardcore band. I saw their last show in Oslo and it was just fucking great. Check out their album Maelstrom. Fantastic!! www.myspace.com/thejrewing

Bad Astronaut - A side project of Joey Cape, the lead singer in Lagwagon. They are mostly a studio band and have recorded 3 fantastic albums. sadly though, they will probably not record more albums since the drummer Derrick Plourde, former drummer of Lagwagon and Bad Astronaut, shot himself right before BA third album was released. I think their first album Acrophobe is their best album, maybe

Hot Water Music - Probably my favourite band at the moment. HWM is kind of a punk band, but not very hardcore. I think their just great! Check out their albums: A Flight And A Crash and The New What's Next!

The Weakerthans - Folk Rock band from Winnipeg I just love this band. Their lyrics is so great and actually mean something! Check out the albums: Left And Leaving and Reconstruction Site

The South - Six great norwegian musicians came together and made this band. They are good I promise you that check out their songs at www.myspace.com/thesouthmusic

I've not listened to them much, but I'm liking the new album .They've got some pretty catchy shit going on. Reminds me a bit of The Vines.
