    Default Rom Combining problem

    I have downloaded a copy of Tales of Destiny II and I have followed the instructions listed on the page of the rom itself ->http://www.emuparadise.org/roms/psx/tod/#

    Now the instructions say "Zorlon has created these batch files to help you join the split part files. Just extract the .BAT file from the zip to the same folder as your 'Tales Of' files and run it from there, it'll join all your files into a RAR. Then you may use WinRAR to extract them further."

    I have put only the Tales of Destiny II files and the combine into one folder like I previously had done with tod1. After clicking the .bat file to combine the DO window opens up and says "press any key to continue..." which I then did so and then it does nothing and closes the DOS prompt.
    NOTE: the .bat file is missing from the screenshot below because i ran it but i did put it into the same directory as the other files but it disappeared from teh folder after it was executed

    This had worked for the tod1 files but is not working for the tod2 files. Any suggestions ladies and gentlemen?
    Here is an example screenshot of how my files look currently;

    I don't know anything but it looks like you could join them with HJ split.

    Try using these batch files to combine ToD II.

    And this is in the wrong section--should be in EE: Sony Systems

    If it works, then I'll fix the other 2 batch files for the other 2 CD's.

    I tried that fix you have provided me and no success, the same situation occurs like before

    ... The Why

    Don't read this if your not bothered about the why the thing hadn't been working

    Never bothered splitting files using either HJsplit or the Dos methodas myself, mostly because the compressers can do that anyway

    HJ split would of done the job, basicly it's an dos command but HJ split is a gui for it ( Not used the prog myself but you may of needed the file to be in seperate CD folders maybe to prevent the files for all CD's being combined into one archive, not good )

    my batch would have also worked but I'm guessing you had all 3 CD's in one folder so in effect it joined all the 3 CD's into one file ( not good ) I used wild cards in the batch to pick up on all files picking up only on the extention part of the file name

    they needed to be in seperate folders to work with my batch files

    The TODII combine is the same as my batch file but that picks up on the whole file name not just the extention so those looked for just the files from the seperate CD's
