Game either doesn't function or runs when starting a new game and shows the character sprite walking on the spot and willl not allow me to do anything.

I am using psemu pro as connectix even with the xp fix doesn't work for me saying i need a pentium 2 or higher processor meanwhile im using dual
AMD 3800+'s. I have tried all the video (gpu) plugins and none give me the ability to even move the character. What should I do?

There are other PSX emulators you should try, ePSXe, pSX..

Try ePSXe as Cookie Monster pointed you too. My friend beat that game using that emulator and his system is utter crap.

I did too, before getting the original a few years ago. 1.5.2.
Not default settings, tough.
