    Default Burning Ps1?

Hi I'm brand new to this, but I was wondering... if I burn an iso directly to a CD, can I play it on my ps1? I'm downloading Musashi right now, for example.

If your PSX is modded or you are familiar with other ways to run backups in your console (swap trick, a purchased boot disc like Breaker Pro), then the answer is yes.

Learn more about the swap trick here (guide by Josh and polobunny): http://www.epforums.org/psx-swap-tri...111/index.html

And how to burn PSX games with Alcohol 120%, here (guide by polobunny): http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?t=24893

And CDRwin and other burning applications If I mentioned Alcohol is only cos we have a good guide to offer, but the way to burn PSX isos with other progs is pretty much the same.

Thanks for the help, everything is working fine, although I do have a quick question. At a certain point in the beginning of the game, no bgm loaded. Also,
whenever a cutscene occurs, the voice overs are choppy and skip like a bad CD. Is that just a side effect? Because believe me, I'm not complaining. Just curious. Thanks.

Sounds like a bad image, or a bad burn, you burn fast? Burn it a lot slower, like 4x.

I burned it at the slowest speed, like the guide said. Another question I have is... well 2 questions. How do I go about ripping my own isos? Also, if I rip an iso, is there a way, or a guide that can show me how to remove FMVs from the game?

There are plenty of programs that can do that.
CDRWin & ISOBuster are probably best for PSX games.
Here's a guide to using ISOBuster:

This is for shrinking PSX ISO's to fit on memeory sticks so you can play them on your PSP, but ISO's ripped by this should still work in PSX emulators:
