Default problem with a cutscene on mgs

after fighting Revolver Ocelot and rescuing the president, there are several cutscenes that follow, however one of the cutscenes showing a real-time movie (where there is a nuclear missile launching) seems to freeze the game. anyone know a way to fix this? this is on the psp by the way (using 3.03 oe-c), so any tips or advice is gladly appreciated. thanks in advance!

The copy you're playing which would've been ripped from a CD, if that disc's damaged and that part of the disc's not readable then your game's never going to work.
That could also be a compatibility issue with the firmware or what ever.
So you could try downloading another version, or make one of your own. Or wait for some one that knows what they're talking about to reply. )

yea something like that happened to me too but I'm playing it on psx. The realtime movie shows up glitchy and with green boxes or whatever all over it. It doesn't freeze though so its not too much of a problem. btw is mgs supposed to be 2 cd or one? I got it from emuparadise and there were 2 parts but one wasn't .cue, .bin it was mkv or something I forgot.

.mkv is a video file, not an ISO.

Maybe you're thinking of .mds & .mdf? (Alcohol 120)

And MGS is 2 discs, except for the Japanese version which is 3.
