I can drink ANY Aussie beer, regardless of how disgusting other people find it, it's a talent.

Do you guys have any Aussie beer fests around your parts? They have one round March at my local, 80 different Aussie beers, farken awesome.

I can drink any beer sober, but anything other than XXXX makes me gag nearly every gulp. When I'm drunk I can drink anything though.

I wish there was beer-fests round here.

I don't actually dislike XXXX all that much (it's surprisingly easy to get down here for some reason. It's probably the first beer I drank as well), but SA pride demands that I denigrate anything not brewed locally. Beer, Pies and Sport is all we do well down here, and QLD is already better at the last one.

But I don't think we've really got an aussie beerfest. Got the usual Oktoberfest/Schutzenfest piss-ups, but nothing really for aussie booze. Too bad, really.


edit: I kinda have a similar reaction to darth. Spirits disappear pretty rapidly in my presence, but too much beer makes me regret my choice of drink.
