    Connection speed: 4Mbs down
    Download Speed: 400-480kbs
    Location: England.

The speed started off over 900kbs and rapidly fell to just below 400, but the dload had finished before it could settle at a constant speed.

Cookie, could you please run a "tracert 89.248.162.170" and paste in the result here ? (You have to run this in a Command Prompt box)

Could others who're getting bad speeds do the same as well ? I think one of our network uplinks may be down

Well, as we discussed on MSN, i've got two internet service providers at my work place and one of them downloads the file at 75 kbps on a 1.6 mbps connection. On the other ISP (1.6 mbps), the file won't even start

About the tracert results that I gave you on MSN (both ISPs), only you can make head and tails out of it

Most of the connections which are going through the atlas node of cogent seem to be having problems. I would still appreciate it if our other members could speed test the file as well and give me feedback.

(Also looking for feedback from different regions of the US and Canada..)
