For many years now, people have been calling this place EP. Now, EP is a nice name, but what are people who come to EP supposed to be called ? I mean, what are you guys, ep'ers, epians, the ep community ?

What exactly is it that you'd call yourselves collectively ? Please do put your creative cells to use since I'm working on certain things which would probably use the catchphrase you come up with over here

Pretty boring on my part, but I've always just considered non-staff members, regular members. Nothing really with 'EP' in there.

Hmm.. paradisecommune.org is available, sounds nice too. What else ? See, I don't want the word emulation in it because it's going to feature a lot of writing, artwork etc. from our users. It's not going to be about emulation, it's going to be more about our members getting to express themselves.. I hope that makes things a little clearer

So is this site gonna go from games and emulation to a touchy feely lets get with it with the members kinda site b/c if it is I think I want off. I always thought the 3 went hand in hand. I guess its b/c every warez site out there is loaded with the pron. So if warez is nothing but cracked games and software if we went that route I wouldn't mind at all. I could then get my PC fix here as well.

Thus I was thinking of getting a domain, something like, say epcommunity.org (.org for unity with the rest of our addresses), and then develop it as a base to tie in all the community aspects such as the forums, irc, (maybe some kind of article thing.. who knows ?), and more..

So the whole deal is, what should this unifying domain be called ?

Now I don't really know what do you mean by "domain", if that means AN ANOTHER SITE ALTOGETHER, then don't you think very few people will log onto epforums.org coz AFAIK MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE just come here to hang out on the forums rather than actually coming in to download roms and stuff. Also, don't you guys think its relatively true that people on EP help out other people with whatever their questions might be while hanging out on EP and just stumbling across new threads while pressing the "New Posts" button ???

And if a new site comes up altogether, majority of the "Elite" EP population won't even log onto EPforums no more ???
