Yeah, me too. But to be honest, I wasn't too excited about that spiked guy as the "new hero". So maybe it wasn't so bad it was cancelled after all.

Btw, jaywillsoul, you should try the "Front Mission" series for SNES, PSX & PS2. Best mecha turn based rpgs ever made!!!

I have to agree with you there. I would've preferred it much more if you played as Megaman rather than Barret. But I was still looking forward to playing it.

I've been having some fun with Shining Force EXA for the PS2 and I've tried looking for anything similar to it, I liked the little base building thing and tons of enemies and I was wondering if anyone knew anything similar to that game on the psx, ps2 or PC...

I've played that one, it's pretty fun, but it slows my fps quite a bit >.<

The Suikoden series fits that category somewhat.

played 2 and 3, those were the most fun ones. I didn't like 4... boats aren't my thing and 5, that one just hates me for some reason.

I'm looking for isometric RPG's with hand drawn graphics. Games like Star Ocean the Second Story, and Legend of Mana, come to mind, and are ones I've enjoyed a lot.
