    2. RPG game with non turn based battle system. I've already finished Kingdom Hearts 1&2, Star Ocean 3, Rogue Galaxy and Grandia 2&3.

    Thanks.
1- Obscure, Cold Fear and even Clock Tower 3 (or Haunting Ground) could be an option.

Thanks for fast answer. I'll try Obscure (I've already finished Cold Fear). Isn't Clock Towers 3 'just' hide and seek with some Psycho or two?

I kinda like Haunting Ground, but I'm not sure if it fits in this case. You have no weapons, plus you have a pet companion during the entire game.

As for #2, FFXII. If you have no problem playing JP-exclusive games, then Tales of Destiny as well.

Well... I have a problem with playing Japan exclusives, but how about Tales of the Abyss?

Ah, forgot about Abyss. Yeah, pretty good game, if you don't mind the fillers. Because it has a lot of that.

1942, Gradius, and there is this other game where you are a dragon of some sort, I played it on a live stream a while back, but the name escapes me.

I am sure there are more though.

You can get a converter to play Famicom carts on an NES. They're pretty cheap, if I recall.

Or than the obvious FF and Chrono trigger? Earthbound, Terranigma, and if you are playing on an emulator, Shin Megami Tensei 1 &2

Now, I know it'd be easy enough to find (For example, Titans Quest, Diablo, Depths of Peril, Din's curse and whatnot.) but I'm looking for a game wherein I can directly control the character. Hence I mentioned the XBLA version of Torchlight instead of the PC. I'm just not as interested if I'm just clicking a mouse. I love me some loot-a-thons though, so if thats all I can find I'll deal.

Still, anyone? Cool PC or console bash/loot game that allows a controller or wads control or something?
with skyrim on the horizon i would suggest oblivion you can get the Xbox version or simply google how to use/setup your Xbox controller to run on the PC version

points of interest for PC version as that's the one I have

    hack and slash gameplay style
    guilds to join including
    assassins
    thieves
    fighters
    mages
    massive immersive world
    many side quest
first or third person switchable point of view
downloadable mods to improve graphics which are already pretty good
also mods to add quest add different types of armor/weapons/enemies make game easier/harder etc.
if you have played morrowind the controls are also easier to use
    I really recommend this game

There is a difference between ignorance and stupidity ignorant people can be taught
stupid people need to be shot.

IMO Oblivion isn't good choice if someone looks for hack'n'slash. I would suggest Sacred 2 but (at least for me) it's not on the same level as Titan Quest. Still it isn't bad if you have friend or two to play in coop.
