What are you trying to do? Burn to play in a modded PS1, or use in an emulator?

Ok, you'll want to download ePSXe. I don't do PSX emulation personally, so I don't know the best version. You might check the PSX Emulation section we have...it's in the Everything Emulation forum. It should tell you everything you need to know

EDIT: It's slightly embarassing, but I can't find the guide I was referring to. One of our staff members, SegNin, recently wrote up a guide...or something

He'll be along soon, and will definatley be able to answer your questions.

Alright, thanks alot. I'll drop by many times a day and see whats going on. If I could be contacted through AIM, that'd be perfect.

You should get the latest Epsxe along with version 1.5.2 as it emulates some games better.

The Epsxe Configuration Handbook should help a lot

You also need a bios file and some plugins. I really forgot where to get them though.

If you have a PS1 you can play them using the swap trick that's in my signature. You can burn the files using a program called CloneCD. A simple Google search will let you find a demo version.

3 of the best PSX emulators -- get all 3 as there are a few games that only work in that emulator.

    ePSXe:
    http://www.epsxe.com/news.php

    PSXeven:
    http://batard.psxfanatics.com/

    pSXfin:
    http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/

Plugins that you'll need for ePSXe and PSXeven:
    http://www.ngemu.com/plugins.php?cat...win32&type=gpu

    Recommended Graphics Plugin:
    P.E.Op.S. GPU v1.17 or Pete's GPU Plugins v1.76

    Recommended Sound Plugin:
    Eternal SPU v1.41 or P.E.Op.S. DSound v1.9

    Recommended CD Plugin:
P.E.Op.S. CDR v1.4 or the default one that comes with the emulator

For PSXeven, you'll also need an Input Plugin like N-Rage's PAD plugin v0.95.

Finally, for all emulators, you'll need the PSX_Bios_SCPH1001 BIOS, which you can get from here:
    http://www.emuparadise.org/biosfiles/bios.html

And Saber already gave you the link to the ePSXe Configuration Handbook, so refer to his post for that.

I recommend PSXFin, it's more newb friendly.

Yes it is. All you need is a BIOS file. And Segnin already posted a link to the BIOS.

It would go in the folder of wherever you put ePSXe...
If there ISN'T a 'BIOS' folder there, then yes, create one.

ie, if you put ePSXe in the 'C:\ePSXe' directory then the BIOS should go in the
    C:\ePSXe\BIOS directory...

I didn't put ePSXe anywhere yet. It's all on WinRAR now.
