Default Kindom Hearts in pcsx2 0.9.2

Kingdom Hearts running in PS2 emulator - Part 1
Kingdom Hearts running in PS2 emulator - Part 2
Kingdom Hearts running in PS2 emulator - Part 3

Some videos I uploaded to YouTube showing how well Kingdom Hearts runs with the newest version of pcsx2.

Wow...I wish my PC was capable of running PCSX2...
Do you know if FFXII works? And if you have it, if it works could you do the same again?

It still has a ways to go, but that is definetly a big step in the right direction.

Unforturnatly yes I have tried FFXII in it and the texture mapping is all messed up just like FFX was before they figured out a way to hack it to make it work.

Oh and for some reason FFX keeps crashing on me just as it's suppose to play the FMV that shows Sin for the first time. I'm not sure if it's the emulator or my computer causing this though.

It's all so very exciting. PCSX2's achievements. I can't wait till they go full compatibilty. My modem's gonna scream bloody murder. lolz.

Anyway I'm sure at this stage its not that far off. (I'm hoping)

Now to get a fully compatible NDS emu...

    Heh.. sweet.

    Their compatablilty list is growing....
I prolly won't be able to play at full speed on my current hardware, though.
I've been meaning to upgrade anyways.

..now all I need is a faster connection

I wonder how it'd run PS2 games on a PC that has ubor specs, and runs DX10 with Vista. Assuming it'd have any effect.

Probably about the same as in Haldrie's videos. Sure you need a powerful comp to run at a decent speed, but it's doesn't take a powerful comp to get a game working. I've gotten one to work on my system (one of the WWE games, dunno which one).

If you want to know my PC's specs just click on the xfire pic in my sig and scroll down to the bottom where it says "Gaming Rig". I got a couple new games thay I'm going to try out and if they work about as well as Kingdom Hearts I'm going to try and upload them as well.

Nice, too bad I don't have a proper graphics card. With the possession of one, I should be able to run pcsx2 without a problem.

Oh yeah, could also use some more ram.

Wow your computer's not really THAT powerful. I mean it is really uber compared to mine. You're using a Core 2 Duo ? Or a Pentium D? Curious, because apparently I can put a Pentium D in my computer. Then I'd need another stick of 512MB RAM and that Nvidia 6600GT I'd been after (256mb)

I'm using a Core 2 Duo. This laptop I have now is actually what Gateway sent me after 3 months of working on my old 3 year only laptop that had tons of problems with it. Thank you Gateway.

Even though my processor clocks at 2.16 Ghz it runs like the Pentium 4 HT at 4Ghz that my last laptop had and when I'm running pcsx2 it only uses up to 60% of my processor's power.

My last laptop had an ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 with 64MB of VRAM and ran Kingdom Hearts at 20fps or slower so I'd say even though my laptop isn't top notch it has more then enough power to run a PS2 game if the emulator was complete and all the bugs were worked out of it.

Do you think this'd get decent speeds on PCSX2?

    Intel Pentium D (Dual Core @ 2.5GHZ)
    1GB DDR2 RAM (533MHZ)
    256MB Nvidia 6600GT (AGP)

Because that's what I'm aiming to have in this PC, eventually.

Most likely yes. My guess is you should get about the same speed I get with Kingdom Hearts (of course this is not the case for all games). I'm still not 100% sure what is really allowing my computer to run pcsx2 so well so the best way to find out for sure if it will work for you is to try it out yourself and see what happens.
