Default Problem with "Gex 3 - Deep Cover Gecko [U] [SLUS-00806]"

Hey everyone, this problem is really getting to me. I have already played lots of games on my emulator (ePSXe), and i downloaded 2 versions of this image.. Both arn't working. When i load Gex in epsxe, it freezes, nothing more, nothing less..
I would be very thankful for help, as i wasted a whole night of downloading at <10kb/s......

Well you can start out by stating your computer's specs, what version of ePSXe that you are using, and what plugins you are using along with the settings of these plugins.

Why is 1.5.2 more compatibile than 1.6.0? Aren't newer ones meant to be better ones? Any how, I recommend the pSX fIN emulator.

6 is better on most games, but 1.5.2 has special fizes that allow certain games to run better (or even run at all)

Correct v1.5.2 is better for 2d's and Final Fantasy Games.
