I've read some comments and it runs as well as the latest CF. Then again, IMO there are not many significative changes to avail the upgrade unless there's a game that you can't run on 3.40. I'd wait to install it.

yeah, I figured it was the counter FW to Sony's freak out release of 3.51 to stop the lumines exploit.

    --EDIT--
Anybody know whats up with this FW release? http://pspupdates.qj.net/OE-expansio...g/49/aid/97049

Have you tried 3.51 CF yet? I'm still a little nervous about updating from 3.30-OE.

Well, then update it to 3.40 OE-A (Dark Alex) if you require it that is but from what I know that is the safest CW till now. Just as Cookie said, keep it till 3.40 OE-A and wait and see if its totally safe to upgrade it to 3.51

Edit: Although I don't think there are any new games out that require you to have a 3.51 just yet

This thread is getting flooded. Haha.

For the latest 3.51 M33 firmware, it proven safe to install and use.
However, Sony has changed the location for certain PRXs and prevented certain themes to be run on that particular firmware.

And as what I said again, THEMES.

I updated to it and it works perfectly. It's a really sweet custom FW.
I still need to try the Wlan. I intalled the fix but I've read there might be some games that still don't work with it. As long as liberty city and tekken works I'm cool.

The fix only affects homebrew which require wlan.
There seems to be a new fix on the NO-UMD emulation.

It cumulative, so applying it also applies the wlan fix.

    Default 3.51 M33-4 (NO-UMD v2 and Plugins for 1.50 Homebrew!)

    2. Added plugins options for homebrew that use 1.50 kernel. The file to be used for it,

There is other bugfix, but we don't know if it will make much difference in compatibility.

In order to make compatibility tests, please remember that your ISO shouldn't be more than 54 chars.

Nice update. Hopefully, they can make a 100% No UMD compatibility in all games!
