    Have fun with the 1.5.

But are you thinking of upping to 3.03 OE?
    Really worth it.

    Sorry I logged off MSN
Anyways, put the .ISOs in a folder named "ISO" on the root of the memorystick.
You know, where the "PSP" folder is, create an "ISO" folder at the same place.

Sorry for not responding earlier, but I was a little distracted on the MSN
But I finally got it to work! First I didnt knew where I needed to put the file and the ISO folder, but I got after, like 2 hours? LOL!!! And when I got it right I didnt understood why it gived me a message error, and is because I had to insert an UMD for it to read the ISO... Thanks to snkupo again for the big help here and to fhqwgad for the UMD tip!!!

I hope this new firmware improves compatibility with some PSX games.
Main ones being Chrono Cross, DW7, Legend of Mana, etc.

fhqwgad, are you using PAL or NTSC ISO's? PAL is supposed to be really glitchy because it hasn't been sorted yet

btw, once you have dark alex firmware, you can use "recovery mode" and de-brick your PSP (hold R as you switch it on), you can use that to activate cheat plugins and make it hide the "corrupted data" icons in your eboot menu and stuff

1 more thing: i have made a mdified eboot of gpsp (the GBA emu for PSP) it has an icon and music

    I was actually referring to
Chrono Cross:Freezes when you recruit certain characters
DW7:Freezes when trying to close the coffin in some dungeon(???)
Legend of Mana:Graphical glitches when doing certain attacks

    All NTSC-U by the way.

    OH and 3.03 downgrader!!!11!!1

I've got a question for people ENJOYING their PSone games on PSP

How does the PSP/PSone emulator compensate for the R2, L2, R3, L3 buttons on the PSP ???

I mean I know quite a few games on PSone like Tenchu 2 and Speed Punks that require/makes it easy for a player to play that game using those buttons. Also, AFAIK, PSP doesn't have a R2 and L2 button

So, how does it work ? Do you guys have any difficulty playing it then ?

Edit: Just so you know guys, I don't own an PSP (just yet ), and I don't really know whether it actually has the R2 and L2 buttons

Default Dark_Alex Custom Firmware 3.10 is out!!!

    http://pspupdates.qj.net/3-10-OE-A-c...g/49/aid/81676

Although it wasn't said, there are options added in the Playstation emulator like new screen modes and controller port switching. Others have reported PAL games working better or perfectly.

    @Gaara
The PSX emu uses the no rumble/analog controller. So no L3 or R3 (Ape Escape is out of the question) as for using L2/R2, pushing the PSP analog left acts as L2 and right is R2, but you can change the controls.
As for ease of use, I got used to the controls fairly quickly as most games I play don't require L2/R2 that much. Though the ones that do, work awesome too.

Luckily, Ape Escape P has been released for PSP itself. A remake/update of the original, and very good.

I wish that it would come with installation instructions.
