I was looking at a SanDisc 4GB before i decided to check ebay (bad choice), they are cheaper than the Sony version. Sony runs about 70 bucks while the SanDisc is only 58 or something.

What exactly does MagicGate do as far as saving to the memory stick?
Also, howcome SanDiscs run faster? For Cheaper?

    MagicGate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagicGate

SanDiscs is quicker since it needs something to be better then the Sony name, which is why Sony feels they can get a better price for theirs. Really, the Sony one probably costs less to make, but they get you for the name

That makes sense, its good for the consumer i suppose (me). I recently found out they have an 8GB MSPD out, but its way too much for the time being. Plus, the 4GB is big enough to do anything anyways.

Magicgate is only used for encryption. And ebay is bad they sell tons of fakes on there. Watch your local circuit city paper if you live in the states. they always gotz teh 4 gigz for like 60-70 on sale every week. if not best buy will.

Actually I just looked at circuit city's website as well as best buy's. Both had the 4 gig for 59.99. But as far as the ebay thing went, the dude refunded my money and told me to keep the memory stick. So i have a free 4 gig that will come in handy if i ever get a camera or something that doesnt use magicgate.

I recommand using it for homebrew emulation on the PSP.
Nothing beats running Pokemon Pinball on it.

    - Added flash2 and flash3 usb to recovery
    - Added a setting in recovery to change the usb device to which XMB will connect.
    - Added "vshmenu", which is a menu that will appear when HOME is pressed in the XMB. It will interfere with existing
XMB plugins that use HOME, so it can be disabled in recovery.
    - Added umd video iso support. The umd video isos are playes using vshmenu. Video isos go in
/ISO/VIDEO folder. They require an UMD inserted because NO-UMD does not work.

    Changes in popsloader:

    - Support for 3.30 firmware. Instructions are same as in previous release, except 3.30
firmware did not have libpspvmc.prx, so just ignore that file.
    - Warning: There is an incompatibility between 3.30 savedata and later ones. If a savedata exists from 3.40+, the emulator will freeze.

Some notes about the usage of vshmenu, and umd video isos:

    - vshmenu cannot be loaded when the browser is active. If you exit the browser, the firmware will
still keep it in memory until you enter other area of xmb, until you do so, you will not be able
    to access vshmenu again either.
    - video isos and the game isos show in xmb use the same core. Due to this, when you enter in game
menu and there is some iso, if a video iso was currently mounted, it will automatically be unmounted.

    - cso format is not supported for video isos.

    - UMD audio isos are theoretically supported, but not tested. They go to /ISO/VIDEO.
The third update for the M33 3.52, bringing it to M33-3 3.52.

    Haha.
Unless you are playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary or utilising the Playstation emulation plus a spoilt UMD drive, you wouldn't need anything higher.

Though I must say the np9660 NO-UMD emulation is perfect. It runs anything without an UMD, just like the 2.71SE days.

AS we didnn't want to release a new update without something new, we worked in making
3.10/3.11 to work with popsloader, and that's it, the new popsloader plugins supports them.
Instruction for 3.10 and 3.11 are same as 3.30: you need pops.prx, popsman.prx and pafmini.prx
with the correct names in popsloader directory. And remember that savedata of 3.10-3.30 are incompatible
with those of 3.40+. We'll research if a solution for this is possible.

    Team M33
M33 now updated their CFW, bringing it to M33-4 3.52.
Note that all M33 updates are cumulative. It doesn't matter if you are running M33-2, or the first revision of the M33 3.52 CFW, it will update it to M33-4.

However, if you are running the M33 3.51 CFW, you MUST update to M33 3.52 before applying the patch uploaded here.

Oh no...I didn't know Tomb Raider Anniversary requires a firmware higher than 3.40...I guess I will update pretty soon once I get the game.

Just a little heads up, There's a Silent Hill Origins demo already. It's an ISO form because it was ripped from a demo disc I think. You guys can see them on some torrent sites.

Metal Gear Ac!d (My first game!)
    Metal Gear Ac!d 2 (I'm also a fan. )
    Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
    Gurumin - A monstrous adventure
    Megaman Powered Up

I'm thinking of buying Tomb Raider because I want to see how big the improvement is after those PSOne Tomb Raider games. :p

And uh...is the demo disc of Silent Hill Origins illegal?

Anyway, not all countries have heavy restrictions on ISOs.
Don't try commerial games. Singapore is kinda tight on that.

Anniversary is too much an improvement.
It gameplay and graphics are on par with the PS2 version.

Well I finally able to try the demo of Silent Hill Origins...and wow, it's pretty good! The frame rate is very much like the Silent Hill PS2 games! I missed playing games like this! T_T

There are also reports that the demo disc is actually the full game itself but it was locked so that you can only play a few parts on it. I checked on the ISO contents and I did see the ending clips out there. I didn't watch them completely but I did see a few glimpse of a UFO ending of the game!

I'll probably buy the game if it will be released. It's really good and I doubt that I will be disappointed in it.
