Hmm...not sure since I haven't tried M33 at all. But I think you need to go to 3.52 M33 first before installing the update-2. Think of it like DA's previous custom firmware like 3.10 OE-A and 3.10 OE-A', where you need to install 3.10 OE-A first before you can install OE-A'.

Copy the M33CREATOR folder into yourGAME150 folder (provided that you are in any other custom firmware, if not put it in GAME folder)

    Get the 3.52 update:

    http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1209

Extract it and rename the 3.52 update to "352.PBP" (minus the quotations) and place it in the M33CREATOR folder.

    Get the 1.50 update here:
    http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmware-1.50-F...91358618904317

    or

    http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/4

Extract and rename it to "150.PBP" and put it also in the M33CREATOR folder

NOTE: Your PSP must be charged with at least 75% or above. Plug in the charger too while doing these process.

Exit USB mode and go to the Game section and run the "3.52 M33 CREATOR".
Let it do its work and when finished, press X to go back to the XMB.

After that, go to the game section again run the "3.52 M33UPDATE". Let it do its work again and once finish, press X button to turn your PSP off. Turn it on again and you should have the new firmware installed.

Thanx for the help, but if you didn't notice from my sig, am already on v3.52 M33. How do I go about just installing the update ? Do I have to do the above mentioned procedure all over again or is there another way to JUST INSTALL THE UPDATE ? The reason am emphasizing more on this and trying to get as much help with this as I can is coz I don't wanna mess anything up and regret it later

Thanx you so much for the help

Just place the update (M33 3.52-2) in GAME or GAME150 (make sure you are in 1.50 kernel), and run it.

Okay, will do that. When you say "(make sure you are in 1.50 kernel)" does that mean I have to boot into recovery first and select kernel 1.50 ? If not, then how do I make sure am in 1.50 kernel

    Yes. That's correct.
That will make sure you are in the 1.50 kernel. If unclear, go to Recovery again and ensure your settings remain.

    Default Youtube on PSP

There is a homebrew now that lets you watch youtube videos on your PSP.

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/bljnju

    Original link:
    http://www.psp-hacks.com/2007/08/09/...s-on-your-psp/

That file in sendspace is the already configured app so you can just put that either in GAME340 or GAME352 depending on your custom firmware although most people only tried this on 3.52 M33.

    The controls are as follows:

    O - Accept
    X - Cancel
    L/R Triggers - Previous/Next Page
    Start - Pause
    Select - Change aspect ratio

I haven't tested it myself yet because I have no wireless internet at home.

Well, the latest one released by the Russian Team M33 is good, which would be v3.52 M33-2. Don't forget to install the latest second update The whole procedure is explained by Arcy in the above posts

Well, the only reason I went from v3.40 OE-A to v3.52 M33-2 is coz people recommended the Sony ISO Loader that it comes with is excellent and awesome and I just heard a lot about how good it was Of course, no problems so far

Good to know, I bought a cheapish PSP with a 1 gig stick, so Ill be using ISOs for sure. Just need to pick up Lumines or something now.

As long as 3.52 m33-2 plays ISOs and PS1 games, Im in good shape. Not really needing emulators and all that, though im sure it does work.

Yeah...everything works just fine on v3.52 M33-2. Using PSP ISOs, PSone eboots, SNES emu, and the good old NES emu, all working just fine
