Been on a normal people become super heroes kick for some reason.

Special - Seriously one of the best and most enjoyable movies I've seen in a long time. Michael Rapaport is amazing thinking he has super powers.
Super - Rainn Wilson becomes a super hero to save his wife who goes back to her junkie ways. Very, very dark and violent. Ellen Page plays a sociopath and I couldn't believe what happens to her.

The Expendables, finally. It was good, but wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It needed 20 more minutes of non-explosions. The cliches (which were great) needed more time to flesh out.

and Russian, French even when his accent slips towards the end.

Also Kevin Bacon was good at playing the bad guy.

It had nothing to do with the comics which can be good and bad. But since I'm no Taliban and the acting and the story were very convincing, I enjoyed it a lot, on par with X2 for me. Definitely, it's not the usual superhero movie.

Oh, I didn't know it had nothing to do with the comics, I liked it, at some points the film moved very quickly but you could still follow what was going on, I have to agree, although it's been so long since I saw X2 I probably forgot it at this point.

Final Destination 5. It was shit. Some of the death scenes made me giggle, though.

I meant that the story isn't based upon any arc or series, it's just a new way of telling us how the group could have been formed, of course the characters and their powers are based on the comics but the licences they adopted and the effort to give the story a historic background are welcome if the final result is going to be as good as this.

I'm with Zally, they better announce a sequel for 2013 or I'll be angry
