I did like the part where Hal launched the dude across the screen though.
I watched 2010: The Year We Make Contact the other day. While not as epic as the first one, still good

I think you would be proud though, that I finished both Seasons 1 and 2 of Star Trek the original series. Started 3 but had to come back down to school...

I really tried to watch all of the original series. But, growing up on TNG, I just really couldn't muster all the imagination required for special effects from that era. Too campy for me

Defendor - Woody Harrelson plays a mentally retarded man who becomes a superhero. Enjoyable.
It's Kind of a Funny Story - Was presently surprised by Zach Galifianakis.
Captain America - Thought it was kinda lame actually.
The Secret of Kells - Beautifully animated movie out of Scotland. Story kind of fizzles and dies.
Amelie - French movie about an introverted girl who falls in love. Very good, tho my ex looks and acts a lot like the main character.

Saw Fright Night, Colin Farrell plays a pretty good vampire.

Ninja Assassin - Uh, pretty typical of Ninja movies made by Americans... Terrible stereotypical Asian accents. But it was overall a decent film and the choreography was stunning for the fight scenes.

Defendor - Loved it when I first saw it, still love it now. A post above made me wanna watch it again, so I loaded it up tonight, and dang, just as good.

Have you tried any of the new remastered ones? They redid the effects and ships and stuff.

Watched Grosse Pointe Blank and Slums of Beverly Hills.

I just got back from watching Transformers 3. It was decent to say the least, I'd say it was better than the second one for sure IMO.

If I were the director though, I would have made the Big lipped, always clean, big titted, white chick die. I think that would have made it better, but oh well.
