Where the Buffalo Roam - Bill Murray plays Hunter S. Thompson and the dad from Everybody Loves Raymond plays his crazy lawyer. I think Fear and Loathing was better but still worth a watch.
Paprika - An anime about dreams that everyone on seems to compare Inception to. I don't see it. It was just okay.
Half Baked - One of the most 90s movies I've ever seen. Worth the watch, now all my stoner friends will leave me alone about it.
Stranger Than Fiction - Gotta say, way more enjoyable then I was expecting. Thumbs up!
Tsotsi - Thug does terrible things and even steals a baby. I'm supposed to feel sympathy for him throughout the movie. HATED IT.

I tried to watch Sucker Punch the other day....

Yeah. That damned movie threw me for a loop. One minute, the main character is in a dance studio about to dance. Then all of a sudden she's in a temple doing all this badass kung-fu on a bunch of random warriors who have come out of nowhere.... Then after she defeats them, they switch back to the real world where she's supposedly just finished an impressive dance routine.

I saw that shit and I was like... "WTF does ANY of that have to do with one another?" Then there was another time she was gonna dance and they took you to a world war 2 looking scene.... but there was a giant mech.... I just stopped watching at that point because even though the scenes in the movie were great looking, none of it made any sense at all. I usually have more patience than that with movies. But it's like the director just forced in the action with no real justification to do so. A story has to make sense. Not just mindless violence for no reason.

It's a giant metaphor of sorts. It pans out eventually once the seemingly non connected plots run together and turn out to potentially be alternate versions of events that quite certainly happened.
