I just watched Princess Mononoke and "The Protector". Mononoke, like I remember, is a great movie. Wonderful animation and the like.

The protector isn't really much of anything. SOME of the scenes are fairly cool, but generally, the camera angles ruin most of it with a crummy story to help it out.

Shit, I was planning on buying it. Thanks for the info.

Steven Segal's Black Dawn wasn't so bad. I just liked the action, the rest was average. Still, I'm always a fan of his.

Recently I watched The Illusionist, I totally recommend it, one of the best movies I've watched in the last months along with Scoop.

Yesterday I went to watch The Prestige, it's a good movie with a great casting including Michael Caine and lots of twists I won't ruin here, perhaps a bit long, but worth the time, I recommended it.

Apparently, we weren't watching the same movie. I give it a:
    HOW DID IT GET BURNED!/10

Also, I watched Letters from Iwo Jima: very very good

Last King of Scotland: Good, but not great.
    Fight Club: awesome
    The Thin Red Line: Transcedent.

I just saw Waiting..., Fearless, and Battle Royal.

Waiting... had me cracking up, Fearless was ok to me, but Battle Royal was all types of badass. It's a great movie, even if it's slightly different than the novel(which I should read now).
