I've been watching the Godzilla movies. I finished watching Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, Tokyo S.O.S., GMK, and Final Wars yesterday. Tonight I'm going older and I'm watching vs. Mechagodzilla, Terror of Mechagodzilla, and vs. Mechagodzilla 2.

Split. The most epic movie I watched since a while.
Definitely recommended if you haven't watched it yet. It's funny and has this unique concept about multiple-personalities.
It was very interesting.
Iron Man, the first time I'd seen it in nearly a decade. It was about as good as I recalled it to be, though it had a rather weak and generic villain.
Iron Man 2, the first time I've ever seen it. It had an even weaker villain with the most threadbare revenge plot I've ever seen. It was still alright, plus it was great to see War Machine in action.
Logan. Again.
Is it just me or does it connect to Days of Future Past perfectly?
Sweet Smell of Success (1957).
Spoiler warning:
Went to the theater and saw American Assassin. Not bad at all. Fairly generic action movie but well done. With all this over the top shit and comic movies out all the time it was a little refreshing to see.
Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Spoiler warning:
I saw Rango and it was really interesting, but probably not for the reasons most people find it interesting. I do not care that it's a Johnny Depp passion project because I sincerely despise the man for being a biphobic wife abuser (look it up), but I dug all the meta-narrative and send-up to westerns, not to mention all the incredibly ugly designs. The film is like a mix of a proper western and a tacky Mexican gift shop, but the stories and framing theme stuff was what really interested me. Unfortunately, it's ruined by the presence of Depp, because knowing what I know about him now and knowing how much of this was made for his garbage self kind of deludes it.
I have watched Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Not best one, but I mostly watch because of Johnny Depp, my favorite actor, every movie he plays in becomes outstanding. I think he absolutely deserves all the rewards and earnings he gets. He doesn’t only buy luxury houses and yachts but does a lot of charity missions. Though he does own this house in France https://tranio.com/france/adt/1635106/, it is for sale now but part of the money will go to charity as the actor mentioned. I do respect him for that.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The first one was better, but this is good too

Twins (1988)
One of those few movies I haven't seen since I was a kid. Fantastic. And my god a young Kelly Preston. Couldn't believe it was her.
Skyriders (1976)
The Sicilian - Director's Cut (1987)
Code of Silence (1985)
War for the Planet of the Apes.
