Guess I wouldn't say I really liked it but overall I didn't hate it

Just got back a little while ago from "pirates of Caribbean dead men tell no tales." I'd say this did a very good job with the movie, looking forward to the next one.

    Wonder Woman watched.

The best DC Comics based movie in years. So many similarities with Captain America The First Avenger tho.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is legitimately one of the worst comedy films I have ever seen.

Who in their right mind would think anything in this movie was a good idea.

Saw Spider-Man: Homecoming today. I loved it. The humor was great, the action was great, and I loved Ned. Really my only problem were Aunt May's actress, and some of the CGI wasn't the best at times. But aside from that, I loved it. Thor was probably my favorite movie in the MCU, but this might just take that cake.

Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens and Secret of the Omnimartix.

Good reminders of how messy the original series was. Secret of the Omnimatrix is a poorly produced miniseries that doesn't really make good use of the Ben in space concept, plus doesn't allow Ben to do much for most of it because of a plot device. The character arc Ben has takes way too long to finish and gets way better handled in Destroy All Aliens later.

Destroy All Aliens has utterly horrifying human designs, since it's a CG film (and a rather cheap one), but damn if it doesn't explode to life during action scenes, and there's a whole mess of them. It's dumb popcorn fun that takes too long to get going, but once it does, it's way better than it has any right to be. I love that the sorta-antagonist is an angry, pissed off Upgrade that has a badass robot suit form that fires missiles all over the place. There's a lot of inventive action that could have only possibly been done in 3D, and I would have loved to see what this would have been like with a real budget. One minor gripe is the Way Big battle in the city, which is kind of out of tone with the rest of the series putting so much focus on Ben learning to use his powers responsibly, and then suddenly giant kaiju battle with an alien war machine flying around. But it's a super col fight so very minor gripe.

Watched Spider-Man Homecoming yesterday night and I liked the much needed, new and fresh approach to the character. Felt as if Spidey had always been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Incredible Hulk, which was... serviceable, I suppose. Unlike X-Men: Apocalypse, which was a steaming pile of shit.

Deadpool, however, was awesome. As was the first Iron Man film, which I just rewatched for the first time in almost a decade.
