    Watched the Evil Dead remake. Not bad at all! As a modern movie, I was expecting just a bunch of needless gore for shock value, but it managed to recapture the original's creepiness and paranoia too.
    Even if it's inevitably inferior for the lack of Bruce Campbell.
    (am I the only person who wants to watch Bruce Campbell and Christopher Lambert fight to the death? There can be only one)

    And on that note, I just learned there are plans for an Army of Darkness 2, directed by Raimi.

    Just watched Thor The Dark World and I recommend it, it's good fun and better than the first one. I never thought shoes would make me laugh so much
    Beware if you go to watch it, there are 2 post credits sequences :O

    RAM JAM!!

    That was actually a freakin' great movie. Much better than I expected, anyways. Kind of gives a different perspective on what can happen when you follow your dreams.

    Yeah, it's definitely one of my favorites. I pretty much wrote it off when it was released, even though I love the director (Pi, Requiem for a Dream), but this movie didn't seem to fit his style.
    Turns out it didn't matter because the movie and the performances were just spot on, and you're right about it giving a different perspective.... parts of it were downright depressing.

    Riddick.

    Not as good as I had hoped it would be. Actually, I don't know what I was thinking (the games are more enjoyable than the movies).

    But

    The Invention of Lying. A decent movie, not the best, but overall, not terrible.

    Karate-Robo Zaborgar

    I'm not sure if this was the greatest thing ever or the worst, but it's something everybody should see. Even if they hate subtitles.

    Machete Kills (2013)

    Oh yeah hahaha! Nice movie to see with friends on a weekend... and laugh a lot. Robert Rodriguez style!

    Darkman 2;

    I still enjoy this movie. It's not as good as the first film, but I still get some pleasure from it.

    Darkman 3;

    I don't know why they made this film, to be honest. I never imagined the second would make enough money to warrant a third.

    Dredd;

    As bad as the 1995 film, but without the enjoyment of hearing Stallone say "I AM THE LAW!"

    Highlander 2: Renegade Version;

    Even without aliens, this movie is an abomination.

    Highlander 3: The Final Dimension;

    Scores points for ignoring the second film... but it's still a pointless sequel that tried too hard to make another bad guy like The Kurgan.

    Highlander: Endgame;

    AKA Highlander: The Series: The Movie. Maybe if I had seen the series I would like it more, but as it stands... nah.

    Iron Sky;

    It was too lame to be comedy, and it was too obvious and rubbing your face in it to be good satire.

    And now for DC films I watched because they're being taken off of Netflix next week;

    Superman vs. The Elite
    Justice League: Doom
    Batman: Year One
    Batman: Under The Red Hood
    All-Star Superman
    Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam
    Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
