Saw Elysium last night. It was alright I suppose, not a huge Matt Damon fan, and the plot was kind of weak. But the SFX were pretty solid.

Recently re-watched some stuff I picked up on Blu-ray:

Casino Royale, then Quantum of Solace.
    Alien & Aliens.

    DTS-HD MA ftw

I saw that as well - I wasn't too crazy about it either. I really didn't care for District 9 all that much TBH, so I kind of knew what to expect when going into this one.

I did go see jOBS this afternoon - fucking terrible. If anyone remembers that TV movie Pirates of Silicon valley that was made about 15 years ago.... well let's just say it's still way better than this movie.

And Ashton Kutcher is just a hack - plain and simple. He can't engage me in any movie I've ever seen him in.

Are you saying you didn't like Dude, Where's My Car? But yeah, that aside he hasn't done anything of worth. I don't get how actors like him get famous, it just seems like he's famous for being famous

Uhh, on topic. I watched Children on Men the other day. I was kinda let down, considering some really positive reviews I'd heard over the years. It was ok, and had an interesting/different plot. But I found myself annoyed that they created a huge unique world, and didn't bother going into most of it. Maybe there's more books or something
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Pacific Rim - 6/10 .....so many unanswered questions....
Turbo - 7.3/10 A bit more partial because it's a kids film and stuck with jokes as such, rarely seen anymore, plus the soundtrack is catchy while it's on.

Loking forward to -Jobs, The Butler, and some other movie but i forget it's title

Yeah. Not fantastic but it was entertaining.
I really didn't like the reboot when I first saw it, but I guess I'm past that now

    Edit:
Oh, and I watched Ghost in the Shell: Arise (Border 1: Ghost Pain) recently too.

did a great job imo. Parts were really silly like that helicopter type thingy he used and the Klingon stuff was stupid. Oh and the Spock fight was alright. Not as good as the first. Wonder how they'll do in the third as I'm sure they'll milk it for all it's worth.

I'm guessing its on disc now?

May have to do a double feature soon.

    It's A Wonderful Life(1946)

First time I saw this I was around 5 years old. And 23 years later, it's still a good movie.
