Saw The Dark Knight Rises last night, not sure I agree with all the decisions they made in the movie, but as far as super hero movies go, it was pretty good.

Watched Iron man with the girlfriend a few days ago. Thoroughly enjoyable. Makes me want to watch the second one, though I've been told that it isn't as good as the first

    Boring and poor...

I saw one of my favorite movies, Heavy Metal. it's a collection of stories mostly sci-fi, centering around an orb called Locknar. Locknar is an evil orb which leaves devastation in it's wake. It features an awesome soundtrack, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, etc. If you like metal, I think you'll enjoy this movie.

    The Eagle (2011)
Not bad, but lacks of money and some actions scenes could had been better directed...
    (3/5)

    Hanna (2011)
A good idea wasted in a horrible direction and a poor ending...

I love the movie, and the old magazines are awesome as well. If it wasn't for those old mags having Anime ads, I may have never discovered Vampire Hunter D and Fist of the North Star. Heavy Metal 2000 totally sucks though, don't ever watch it if you haven't already.

Watched Super 8 tonight. I saw it back when it first came out, but caught it on TV tonight. I really enjoyed it.... reminds me a lot of the Goonies, which is always a good thing!

I just saw Shaun of the Dead.
It's basically a funny zombie movie. It also has Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in it

Yeah, Heavy metal 2000 sucks hard. it's an obvious attempt to cash in on Heavy Metal and the turn of the century.Everyone involved should be ashamed.

    American Reunion

I was pleasantly surprised. I don't usually watch these sort of teen comedies but I enjoyed the first and then the second was so-so and the wedding one wasn't that good but figured I'd still give this one a shot.

Pretty damn funny I must say, it's nice seeing everyone back in it even those that only popped in for a couple of lines, like Jessica and the Sherminator. Also Stifler finally got sweet revenge on Shitbrick!
Definitely rivals the first one and has some very laugh out loud moments.

Silent house. Don't watch it. Even if Elmdor tells you to.
