Creepshow- I love this movie. It's not scary, but it's fun to watch. I've seen this movie millions of times.

I really enjoyed Creepshow.... seen it many times. I have a soft spot for the early 80's horror movies, and this one in particular had some pretty clever segments. Stay away from the second movie though.

I've recently seen Goon, which was far better than I ever imagined it could be. It reminded me a lot of Slapshot with Paul Newman, and it's funny, vulgar and bloody. All good qualities in my book
Also seen recently on a scale of 1 - 5
    American Wedding (2 of 5)
Chronicle (4.5 of 5) Whoever wrote/conceived this movie must have been a massive Akira fan. Watch it and you'll know what I mean.
A Clockwork Orange (5 of 5) Seen it many many times, but every time I stumble across it on DISH, I have to watch it and it was on tonight.

I watched Shopping yesterday. Pretty poor film imo, but lots of nice cars none the less.

    I saw Serenity recently.
It was good, but it was basically just a long episode of Firefly

I know. Creepshow 2 sucked hard.
After Last Season- This movie is The Room or Birdemic bad. It's cheaply made and the story goes nowhere. You have to see it to believe it. I'm sure they tried, but it's still bad. An example of the low budget, the "mri machine" in the movie is cardboard boxes with paper on it. Yeah, really. The movie is what I imagine purgatory to be like.

I saw Midnight in Paris in theaters recently. It was much better than expected. I never have high hopes for Woody Allen movies. They just usually aren't my cups of tea. Perhaps the extras casting director should have been throat punched. I can't imagine there were as many rick, black socialites in Paris in the 1920s as this film claims.

    Just Go With It (2011)
    Average (3/5)

    Unknown (2011)
It was good. But a better direction in some action sequences will be better.

Movie was god awful IMO, compared to the book.
One of the worst books made into a movie I have ever seen

On topic, watched the Death Note Trilogy.

    Army of Darkness
Evil Dead- I like the Evil dead series because it doesn't take itself too seriously.

I miss clever low budget horror flicks. Just not something you see these days. Every horror flick is modeled after Saw, or just a lame remake of a good movie from 30 years ago.

I just saw The Dark Knight Rises, and wasn't totally sold on it. Granted, I'm not a comic fan and none of these comic movies really does it for me, but it was definitely above average. Dark Knight is better though, IMO. I also saw Prometheus.... I really enjoyed it and I am a long time fan of Alien/Aliens. There seems to be a lot of haters on this movie, but maybe because it's a bit more intelligent (REA you need to use your brain) than the typical sci-fi drivel that comes out these days???
