Won't you be my Neighbor? (2018) Finally got a chance to see it. Loved it. It reminded me of my childhood and that it's never bad to keep your inner child and to remember to be kind towards others. I respect him even more now. Making sure to pick this up on dvd. 10/10

Also saw Deadpool 2 and RBG recently. Both good films. The latter film especially. Well worth the watch. Loved the humor in Deadpool 2.

RBG is very nicely done. It gives a good picture of her as a person and of the work and the effort she put in over the years.

Deadpool 2 isn't perfect, but it made me laugh a lot and I really liked a lot of the meta humor.

    RBG - 9/10

    Deadpool 2 -- 7/10

Entertaining enough as a movie, but also disturbing.
    Spoiler warning:
Never got into all the stuff considered canon now. I was always aware a certain character had somehow survived what appeared to be an obvious death in a movie earlier in the timeline, but actually seeing him is kinda messed up. It's like now I feel compelled to watch all the kids cartoons to fill in gaps

    Solo.

Yeah nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.

That thing about that one character you mentioned DL completely took me by surprise. Also pretty stupid imo.

I read somewhere that Ron Howard did that because his kid likes that character.
    Spoiler warning:
Never knew the details about how he survived, but if you're curious go google and have a read. It's pretty hilarious.
Why the fuck shit like that is canon is beyond me.
Anakin surviving is believable because he lost some limbs and Sidious immediately went to pick him up and patch him up, but this other character's survival story is ridiculous.

The funny thing is too that Disney was disregarding all the extra shows and comics etc as canon when they took over.

If they can bring back that character they could do it with others. Maybe Mace Windu fell on a speeder from that window which just happened to be on it's way to the hospital. Maybe Obi Wan turned invisible and ran away so fast that it left his robes still standing and he escaped in a shuttle and is now drinking up all the stock at the Mos Eisley cantina. Maybe, well you get the idea

Thankfully it happened at the end of the movie. They certainly left it open to a sequel though. Also Chewie was great in it

Yes, apparently a bunch of jedi were still alive after order 66.
I expect Disney will make a trilogy about the jedi librarian that survived

    The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

If you like the Coen Brothers, you'll definitely find at least one segment in there that you'll enjoy.
