I agree, it really wasn't funny at all but that's what I liked about it. The ads totally made it out to be a comedy, almost slapstick, so I avoided it. Turns out the movie is actually pretty dark..... it's just too bad the ending was so weak. The movie had a lot of promise until the third act when it turned into a monster mash/super smash bros brawl cg action event.

Anyway, I finished watching the series Twin Peaks and had to watch Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. Fantastic movie, but I warn you it will be completely over your head if you haven't seen the entire TV series. The movie assumes you have seen it all and doesn't give any explanation or background about anyone or anything, and most characters aren't even called by their name in the movie (it just expects you to know them, haha). It's real good though....

Also saw Moonrise Kingdom recently. If you like Wes Anderson there's no reason you won't like this one.

Watched Unleashed with Jet Li. Decent film, can't recall Bob Hoskins being the bad guy before. Made it interesting.
