I haven't seen it but when you try to milk all you can get from a successful franchise it's gonna suck.

Apparently it did just like all the other franchises that had a successful run. You just gotta know when to quit.

Without creating a huge paragraph of rant inside a spoiler I'll just say there were too many things that ruined it for me, because I was frequently thinking "this is silly".

Just stuck the Bluray for Spiderman Homecoming in my PS3. It didn't run and bitched about encryption keys. Stuck it in my PS4, it didn't run and demanded I connect to the internet.

You know what's connected to the internet? Jdownloader. This problem will be solved in 10 minutes. Fuck you Sony.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Recently saw A Quiet Place, I liked it!

It has a couple of horror movie "dumb-decisions-because-we-need-to-move-the-plot-forward" moments, but I thought was fairly effective at building tension.

A few unanswered questions, but overall a solid watch if you're looking for an interesting horror flick to kill an hour and a half with.

Has anyone seen the live-action version of Casshern The Robot Hunter? I have it on DVD and I'm a little afraid to watch it.

Also, recently rewatched Falling Down. Great movie.

Is that the 2004 movie or is it a different one? I watched that years ago, original audio with subs.

Yup, 2004. Honest question, is it any good - for fans of anime Casshern?

Never saw the anime so I can't say. I watched it because I like a lot of sci-fi and foreign films.
I haven't watched much anime at all really, just some odd classics and pretty much all the GitS stuff.

    Justice League.

Not great at all but it wasn't the shit storm most people complained about. At least it didn't drag on for 3 hours like B vs S. Seemed more like a Saturday morning cartoon, and meant more for a younger crowd.

I'm on the fence on most of the DC movies, like they're not great, but they're all at least watchable. Their primary problem is pacing/tonality and that they're competing with Marvel.

The next Marvel movie could literally just be a 2 hour long version of a middle school educational sex ed video and it would still print money.
