It's time to update ePSXe to the latest version:
    http://www.epsxe.com/

Also, after you've updated, go into the video plugin's config and check "use FPS limit" and set it to 60.

I'd suggest you to use epsxe 1.52 for FF VII and other square games. (http://epsxe.com/download.php)
What sound plugin are you using? Eternal SPU 1.41 (http://ngemu.com/psx/plugins.php?cat...win32&type=spu) would be a good option. Make sure to check the first 3 boxes you'll find when you configure it.

Where'd you download it from? I've never seen any lines in FF7 other than scanlines which can be enabled/disabled through the video configuration.

If you don't have PhotoShop, then get IrfanView:
    http://www.irfanview.com/

Make a screenshot of FF7 by doing this:

Press the PrtScrn key on your keyboard while running the game in ePSxe.
Open PhotoShop or IrfanView and paste, then save as a .jpg.
Upload the pic to an image hosting site like:
    http://imageshack.us/
    http://photobucket.com/

Then copy and paste the image code to your next reply here, and we'll be able to see what you're talking about.

Here's an example pic I uploaded to ImageShack (click to enlarge):

I guess you are on epsxe 1.52 now, what video plugin are you using and what's your video card?

    ePSXe plays FF7 perfectly too.

For ePSXe, go to Config > Video > Configure > Copy settings to clipboard > Paste settings to your next reply here.

You can also try what Haldrie suggested; with your computer, you might find that pSX 1.10 works better than ePSXe.

To access the Graphics and Sound configuration for pSX 1.10:
File > Configuration > Graphics or Sound

To get rid of the green lines in ePSXe:
Set Texture Filtering to 4 or 0

And make sure that your graphics card has anisotropic filtering turned off.

I checked, and your graphics card has anisotropic filtering:
    http://www.intel.com/support/graphic...S-012644.htm#4

PSX emulation doesn't support anisotropic filtering.
