Old meets new, EP Forum Updates

Well, after the rollback things seem to be going pretty slow. I've started making new additions to the forums already, to bring it back to it's old standard and then move beyond that to newer heights ; ).

So far, the links and downloads system has been added back in. This means that our members can now contribute to the links database by uploading files such as BIOS's, etc. which will help our n00b users gain access to emulation goodies of a varied nature. The new links system (which had been added earlier as well..) enables registered users to upload files to our server and link to them, this way you already have a readymade place to upload to.


Secondly, I've added a Time-Travel hack. This doesn't really serve any practical purpose but is a fun addition. What it does is, it filters threads based on the last post date, and in a way makes the forum appear as if you were viewing it in your selected time period. For example, if you selected April 2005, you will only be showed threads from and older than April 2005, all newer threads will be hidden from view. Try it out

There'll be more new stuff showing up shortly including the reintroduction of our beloved arcade system. So you definitely have something to look forward to despite the rollback.

There we go, the arcade has been added back . Ofcourse, I'm going to be adding more games since the default arcade install comes with very few titles.

Also, added this new feature to seperate the Sticky threads in a forum from the Normal threads, otherwise it gets kind of messy when there're too many stickies.

Well, we've completed the move to our new server in Toronto, Canada. You should now experience blazing fast speeds and great uptime, enjoy : )

Enter a forum section, F4A for example, it's there at the bottom of the page. Look for a 'Teleport to the past' button.

Well is there any chance you could find some less ugly skins? Like the vB3 ones are just to fucking wide.... Anime Paradise is the skin im using now, its nice and small yet the fucking insane whiteness burns the fuck out of my eyes...

Zelda's Paradise used to be the shit, untill it when all Oprah's ass and became fat =/
